Coolidge has a population of around 13,000 residents and is known for its rich history and agricultural roots. The city is home to the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, which preserves ancient Native American ruins dating back to the 13th century. Coolidge also hosts the annual Casa Grande Cotton Festival, celebrating the city's cotton farming heritage.

1. Casa Grande Ruins National Monument: Located in Coolidge, Arizona, this site contains the remains of an ancient Hohokam village, including a large structure known as the Casa Grande ("Great House"). The site is believed to have been inhabited between the 11th and 15th centuries. 2. Montezuma Castle National Monument: Situated near Camp Verde, Arizona, this site features well-preserved cliff dwellings built by the Sinagua people around 1100 AD. The five-story structure is one of the best-preserved cliff dwellings in North America. 3. Petrified Forest National Park: This park in northeastern Arizona is home to one of the largest and most colorful concentrations of petrified wood in the world. The park also contains archaeological sites, including ancient petroglyphs and ruins of Puebloan villages. 4. Tuzigoot National Monument: Located near Clarkdale, Arizona, Tuzigoot is a pueblo ruin built by the Sinagua people around 1000 AD. The site includes a large multi-story structure situated on a hilltop overlooking the Verde Valley. 5. Homolovi State Park: Situated near Winslow, Arizona, this park contains the ruins of several ancient Ancestral Puebloan villages dating back to around 1200 AD. The site includes petroglyphs, pottery shards, and other artifacts. 6. Canyon de Chelly National Monument: Located in northeastern Arizona, this site features spectacular sandstone cliffs and ancient ruins built by the Ancestral Puebloans. The park contains several well-preserved cliff dwellings and petroglyphs dating back thousands of years. 7. Wupatki National Monument: Situated north of Flagstaff, Arizona, Wupatki contains the ruins of several Ancestral Puebloan villages dating back to around 1100 AD. The site includes a large multi-story structure known as Wupatki Pueblo, as well as several smaller dwellings and kivas.
